Timbertide was born on the edge of the continent, shaped by the raw beauty of the Great Southern Australian coastline and an unwavering reverence for traditional distillation. We set out to build a place that reflects the very soul of our surroundings: grounded, textured, and unapologetically authentic. Timbertide represents the meeting point of deep forest and pulling ocean. It is a pledge of patience, character, and restraint. We do not manufacture for volume or compromise for convenience, choosing instead to craft spirits for those who appreciate the quiet weight of time and the honest expression of raw materials.
Our distillery sits where salt air sweeps through dense timber, creating a distinct microclimate that breathes life into every batch. The shifting coastal humidity, seasonal shifts, and exceptional water purity all imprint themselves directly into our process. We remain fiercely uncompromising in how we work. We mash, ferment, and distil our base right here on site, taking full responsibility for every drop from grain to glass.
Using a traditional copper pot still, we meticulously manage our cuts by hand, capturing only the purest, most character-rich heart of the run. By pairing pure regional water with carefully selected grain and the steadying influence of wood maturation, our spirits mirror the untouched landscape we call home. What ultimately sits in your glass is the culmination of that discipline. Whether it is a rich, slow-matured whisky or a bold signature release, every bottle of Timbertide delivers remarkable depth, a clean finish, and genuine integrity. No artificial additives, no vanity, and no compromises. Just honest, small-batch Australian spirits crafted to be shared with good company.
